What habits do you feel helped you succeed?

We don’t believe success is random. Over the years we have spoken with hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs, artists, creatives, researchers, athletes, and more. We’ve learned from them – both through their stories and through the advice they’ve shared with us – and it’s quite evident that success is more likely when certain habits are present. So, we decided to ask folks to share their habits with us, especially those that they feel helped them succeed.

My early mornings have 100% changed my life. I know you hear so many people talk about how waking up early is great but for me as a busy mom, those moments in quiet are essential. One of the habits I lean on for my mood, energy and health is movement in the morning. I tend to not get that in if I do not get out of bed before I want to! Some habits that helped me succeed is staying consistent and having high standards. The first salon I was ever given the chance to work at, where I learned most of my skills had the highest of standards. The owner is from London and always made sure we got what we needed to give the best facials possible. Prior to that career, I was a dental assistant working for an incredible dentist who also taught me about cleanliness, bedside manner and punctuality, which I also contributed to my success. In an industry where small oversights can lead to significant setbacks—whether it’s targeting the wrong audience or mismanaging budgets—being meticulous has allowed me to consistently deliver results.
