We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Voos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victoria, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Not giving in to that gnawing feeling of everything needing to be perfect. I have always resonated with the saying “progress over perfection” and I think it’s what helps me keep pushing through even when I am being my own worst critic!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My focus is mainly on plus size fashion and body positivity because that’s what I want to see and what I want to create a community around! My thinking is I want to see more bodies like mine being represented so I use what I’ve got and represent for others.

I have found that putting myself in that kind of vulnerable position has been so empowering and has even helped me along my own self love journey. I was never worried about any online bullying or trolls – I have heard it all before. But when I get to hear from someone that I inspired them to love themselves, to wear the damn bikini or to start dating again, it fills my heart with so much joy.

If there’s anything you need to know it’s that FlyForAGinger is a safe space where we can laugh and bitch together whether we are talking about PCOS, Psoriasis or being Plus Size – I got you boo!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Seaport Village is probably the first place I would take someone. It’s got everything from adorable souvenir shops to delicious food. Just down the road you can even go on a whale watching boat cruise! You can also never go wrong with hitting the beach – my favorite is sunset cliffs!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I can’t talk about my blogger/influencer journey without mentioning my amazing coach Brianne Huntsman. She is a total rockstar and great at holding me accountable at reaching my goals!
