We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiger Gross and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiger, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
ShootYourShotSocal- I believe an aspect of the photobooth/live events industry outsiders may tend to overlook is that sometimes the latest technology or gadget isn’t necessarily the best solution for your business and/or events. Especially now when everyone wants what’s hot or trending. It could be easy to forget that a simple task, like taking a stand-alone photo with a mobile photobooth at an event shouldn’t be any more difficult than posing, smiling, and “click”.

I have to speak for myself on this one, when I say the one thing about the jewelry industry I was unaware of before starting my own is; just because something looks nice draws attention, doesn’t t mean it will necessarily sell quickly. I’ve found that success is in every detail and that extends to beyond the physically created product. We appreciate a good story or a bit of information that explains what exactly we purchasing. This eliminates the probability of any buyers remorse while adding value to the buyer and owner experience.

What should our readers know about your business?
Shoot Your Shot SoCal is a stand-alone photobooth that captures still shots, GIFs and boomerangs. We service events large and small in the Inland Empire, Los Angeles and Orange County. We exist to create long-lasting memories for our clients. Our core values include ensuring that our customers are happy with the memories that are captured by using our photobooth.  We aim to enhance their event and encourage them to have fun.

Interacting with guests at events is what we love most about our business. Watching them have fun while using the booth and capture memories is why we do what we do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I’m going to assume that my best friend arrives at LAX on a

Sunday and that it’s a beautiful sunny day.

Sunday-Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier

Monday-Breakfast at the district, shopping on Melrose, Star Walk on Hollywood Blvd, Universal Studios and Citiwalk

Tuesday-Culver City Steps and take in the views. Lunch at Oasis Vegetarian

Wednesday-Disneyland and Downtown Disney

Thursday-Huntington and Newport Beaches

Friday-LA Live, Club hopping

Saturday-The Laugh Factory and off to LAX for a late night flight

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

We recognize that nothing is possible without God at the forefront. So, we give all glory, honor, and praise to Him for guiding us to start Shoot Your Shot SoCal.

We would like to dedicate our shoutout to our parents, sisters, brothers, and extended family and friends who have encouraged us and supported our dreams.  Through the many pictures that we have taken with family and friends we have created lasting memories and we want others to create forever memories with their family and friends as well.
