We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachita Panchal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rachita, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My decision to start my business came from realizing how much I wanted to be a part of bringing love stories to life. I love getting to know each couple beyond the wedding itself—learning about their journey, their backgrounds, their traditions, and the family dynamics that have shaped who they are.
For me, wedding planning is about so much more than organizing an event. It’s about building genuine relationships with my couples and their families, often to the point where they feel like family to me. Watching their vision come to life and seeing their love story unfold on one of the most important days of their lives is truly priceless.
At the heart of everything I do are the relationships I build. Those connections are what inspire me and are the reason I started this business.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My work is centered around creating meaningful experiences, not just beautiful weddings. What sets me apart is the relationships I build with my couples. I take the time to truly understand their story, their cultures, traditions, family dynamics, and the vision they have for one of the most important days of their lives. By the end of the planning process, many of my couples and their families feel like my own family, and that’s something I value deeply.

I specialize in Multicultural and Indian/Indian Fusion weddings, which often involve multiple events, unique traditions, and intricate logistics. Having a deep understanding of these celebrations allows me to guide couples with confidence while helping them honor their heritage and create an experience that feels authentic to who they are.

My journey wasn’t built overnight, and it certainly wasn’t easy. Like many entrepreneurs, I started with a passion, a vision, and a willingness to work tirelessly to earn every opportunity. Building trust, growing my network, and establishing my business took patience, consistency, and countless hours behind the scenes. Every challenge taught me something valuable—whether it was learning to adapt, becoming a stronger leader, or remembering that genuine relationships will always be more important than simply closing a sale.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success isn’t measured by how many weddings I plan, but by the impact I leave on the people I serve. My goal has always been to make every couple feel supported, understood, and able to fully enjoy their celebration, knowing every detail is being thoughtfully taken care of.
Above all, I want people to know that PicturePerfectEventsByRach is built on heart. It’s built on trust, authenticity, and the belief that every love story deserves to be celebrated in a way that reflects the couple’s unique journey. For me, this is more than a business—it’s a privilege to play a small part in one of the most meaningful chapters of someone’s life, and I never take that responsibility for granted.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit Southern California for a week, I’d want them to experience the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, amazing food, and beautiful scenery.

We’d start the mornings with coffee by the beach, followed by long walks along the coastline before heading out to explore. We’d spend time in La Jolla watching the sea lions, kayaking through the sea caves, and enjoying the sunset from the cliffs. We’d also visit Coronado Island to bike along the beach, stroll through the charming downtown, and relax by the ocean.

Of course, no trip would be complete without exploring San Diego’s incredible food scene. We’d enjoy fresh authentic Mexican food, rooftop dinners overlooking the city, and end a few nights with dessert and late-night conversations by the water or maybe go clubbing or bar hopping just depending on the mood!

I’d also take them to Balboa Park to explore the museums and beautiful gardens, spend an afternoon wandering through Little Italy, and visit the Gaslamp Quarter for great restaurants and nightlife. Depending on the season, we’d probably catch a game or enjoy one of the many waterfront events San Diego has to offer.

One thing I’d definitely want them to experience is the diversity of Southern California. From beach towns to vibrant neighborhoods and incredible multicultural cuisine, there’s always something new to discover. As someone who loves bringing people together and creating memorable experiences through weddings, I naturally enjoy finding places where people can connect, celebrate, and make lasting memories.

By the end of the week, my goal wouldn’t just be for them to have seen San Diego—it would be for them to have experienced the lifestyle, the welcoming community, and the little moments that make this city such a special place to call home.
