We had the good fortune of connecting with Missy Bunch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Missy, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
Outsiders are probably unaware of how emotional invested a personal trainer, physical therapist or pain management specialist is in each of their patients. If we have 20 active clients, we have an experience of “dating” each and every one of them. We are thinking about them, checking in, wondering how they are, hoping they feel better, can’t wait to see them again 🙂

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What I am most excited about with my business is that it is ever-changing. I love course correcting with change and adapting to what is needed and the most valuable to my audience. Which is a great thing to love, during these chaotic crazy times of 2020. Nothing in my business is really easy but I do love it, so it doesn’t feel like work. I overcome challenges by researching the best in their field at any given topic and then modeling off of them. I will never pretend to know everything so I always seek coaching and guidance. I have learned that if you just simply believe in yourself, a LOT can be accomplished. The main struggle is controlling the thoughts in between your ears. I want the world to know that when working with me, my whole heart is involved. I call it a co-creative process. I am not there to tell anyone what to do. I am there to create it WITH them.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
We would go hiking, grab a green juice or acai bowl, maybe go to the lot for a movie that night. One day check out salt n straw for ice cream in Little Italy, Herb and Wood for sure is what’s for dinner. Another dinner night would be Enoteca Adriano for dinner another night. Paddle Boarding out of the catamaran resort. Tacos on Emerald street from oscars. Torrey Pines.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
