Hi Max, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Offering a full range of design services has allowed us to maintain flexibility though various turns in the economy. It also gives us the ability to advocate for our clients brand through many outlets and maintain consistency.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a team of creatives, Linespace is driven by talent, expression, and inspiration. Our designers, and partners are all encouraged, to celebrate their talents beyond their professional skills. Whether it be photography, fine art, craftwork, or music, It is assertional to continue feeding the creative soul to maintain the passion and energy we put into our work. Since the founding of our design studio in 2003 we have hosted gallery events, organized creative field trips, and supported our employee & partner’s creative endeavors. It is not just a “perk” it is the core of who we are. The community of creatives we engage with brings rounded perspectives and passion to our work as a design agency.

The experience and technical side of what we do as wayfinding, brand, experience, and product designers is what makes us capable. The creative solutions are what makes us exceptional. Embracing creativity is how we push past client challenges that have technical equivalencies. We reach past the obvious so our clients are presented with solutions beyond what they asked for in the brief.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We are Explorers at heart. The Three partners are transplants form the midwest (20+ years ago) we have made California our home and heart. With our studio in Southern California and clients, and resources from Santa Clara to Chula Vista we are inspired by the diversity of people, food, culture and geography. We seek out the unique and ever changing experiences of the inner city, to the coastal chill for some fish tacos, to the inland valleys for a relaxed weekend with wine and poolside resorts. We are drawn to wherever we find good food, cocktails, and the year round outdoor experience that is truly unique to SouthernCalifornia

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our families have supported us through lean times and success. They have given us strength to focus the direction of the company. Our wives, kids, sibling, parents and our extended families are not only our biggest cheerleaders but they help ground us while we continue to grow and reach for greater.
