We had the good fortune of connecting with Keasha Lee Ince and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keasha, we’d love to hear about a book that’s impacted you.
One of the first books to have a big impact on me was written by Russell Simmons called, “Do You! 12 Laws to Access the Power in You to Achieve Happiness and Success.”

Russell is a multi-talented entrepreneur who co-founded Def Jam records, several clothing lines, and has produced several original shows. He’s also yogi and vegan.
I love to see how people can evolve and transcend the circumstances that they were born into to create a life that is a reflection of where their soul has called them. Russell is an example of this. Always do your best, never diminish your vision, understand the power of your words and take action. These are some of the laws that really helped me. I revisit his book when I need a reminder.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I work with service providers and digital entrepreneurs to help them find the words and messaging that will help them make a Striking Statement regarding their mission and brand. When you make a Striking Statement, you embody the energy of your authentic self-expression. Many times, it’s through the way you communicate verbally, which is part of what I help others do through my copywriting and messaging coaching but it’s also in what you believe about yourself and what you’re capable of. I provide a holistic approach to brand messaging and online marketing through copywriting services, content strategy and coaching. It warms my heart to see the boost in confidence and or the change in perspective that my clients experience in while working together. When you’re able to have clarity and truth to your messaging and how you show up, more opportunities open to you in support of what you desire. What I’ve learned on my journey as an entrepreneur, mom, wife, sister, friend and colleague is that it’s important to have grace for yourself when you make mistakes, when you decide to change your mind, and when you try something new. Your success can only be defined by you, and when you’re okay with that there’s so much freedom.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’d definitely go to North Park and Little Italy to people watch and check out some restaurants. I would make sure that we visited La Jolla Windansea beach for a beautiful sunset and delicious dinner. Next, we would have brunch in Encinitas at EVE followed by a walk at Moonlight and Swami’s beach. We’d also visit the meditation gardens and some local shops.

We’d visit the Safari Park and go to Pacific Beach to have some vegan sushi at SushiNow.  My guest couldn’t leave before visiting some wineries in Temecula.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank my husband and daughter for their support, love, patience, challenges and laughter. You inspire me to keep moving forward to my dreams.
