We had the good fortune of connecting with Julieta Garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Julieta, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
For me it is important to take care my physical, emotional and mental health. I like to be active, so I try to plan activities with my loved ones, romantic dates with my husband and I also try to keep personal time for myself to do hobbies that make me happy. I try to work out Monday to Friday, it makes me feel with more energy, during the weekends I love to meditate and enjoy the sun in the pool or on the beach, and when there are good waves I love going to surf with my husband! Surfing makes me feel relaxed and for me, it’s also another kind of meditation with exercise. You need to give yourself enough time to get things done, so you have to manage your time to have fun!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Since I was a girl, I have worked on television acting and presenting on tv shows, I work in the Real Estate Industry and I also share on social media fashion trends, brands and life experiences. I love to travel and life is a journey so we need to embrace every moment, even when there are moments that we need to overcome challenges, we need to make a plan and follow it, celebrating all the things in life.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I recommend the couples visit Raised by the Wolves bar, they offer a unique, captivating and romantic experience! Of course you can’t miss Torrey Pines and enjoy the spectacular views! Another spot to visit is the Spruce Suspension Bridge, built in 1912 with a view of the canyon. Of course you can’t miss Balboa Park and the Spanish Village where you can have a delicious coffee! In the evening there is no a better plan that watching the sunset in the cliffs with a nice picnic with wine and cheese and don’t forget to visit the Old Town built in 1827 and 1830.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband and my family.
