We had the good fortune of connecting with James Greene and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi James, what principle do you value most?
Creativity. During my graduate studies I had the opportunity to have an in depth look at psychology. The most fascinating thing was the mind. It was amazing that what people could image could become real. It was one of the few things in the world that is infinite. I think it is one of our purposes for living life. This is a quote about creativity that I love “Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun.” — Mary Lou Cook

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Podcaster! I think what sets me apart from other Podcast is that I focus on changing mindsets by connecting as many real people with real stories as possible to provide encouragement and belief. After the encouragement we implement daily affirmations to reaffirm the message of the story. One of the most proudest moments was when I received a text message from someone I admire and they said wow this episode really touched me and I referred several others to listen to your podcast. I was like WOW I may be on to something. Originally I started this just to talk to people and give others something to believe in through changing their thoughts process. I did not realize I would actually connect with this many people. I believe I met some great people that has provided me with knowledge, guidance and help along my journey. In the words of Langston Hughes, “Life for me has been no crystal stair”. On my journey to where I am now I struggles with my insecurities and negative thoughts. I even quit and came back but through my mindset journey and creating this community I been able to overcome many of these challenges. I have learned that what you think is what you believe and what you believe is what you see in this world. I want the world to know that if they would like to influence the world, I have a platform to share your story. Contact me for further discussion.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would go hike to Cedar Creek Falls, see east jesus/west jesus near the salton sea, go deep sea fishing, watch the sunset everyday, hit a couple hidden beaches and Wilson Creek Winery. We would eat at Farmer Table in La Mesa, Plumeria Vegetarian Restaurant, 43rd Street Taco Shop, rooftop bars South Beach Bar and Grill, HODADS and AirBnB cookout at beach house

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out Larry Dickens he was the director of our local boys and girls club. He modeled success and made you feel like it was obtainable through understanding your value and giving it to the world. I have read many great books . Business book: The E Myth Revised Inspirational: Bible Financial Book: Richest Man in Babylon Influential Book: How to win friends and influence enemies
