We had the good fortune of connecting with Deborah Kuri and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Deborah, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my brand Reikilibrium is being able to provide a path and or guidance to healing; to help others connect with the understanding that we are all here to learn and to evolve at different paces and in different processes knowing that there is not only one right way, that there are a variety of healing tools out there that can and will benefit your mind, body and soul. My main goal is to guide each patient to discover which tools adjust to their own perfect process, understanding that they have the right to live a good life and that each individual deserves a healing experience.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My main goal is to guide each patient to discover which tools adjust to their own perfect process, understanding that they have the right to live a good life and that each individual deserves a healing experience.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them early morning to Swami.s beach in Encinitas which is one of my favorite spots for a relaxing morning walk, after grabbing coffee of course from maybe James Coffee, or Dark Horse. Then I would walk them down to the Self-Realization Garden to enjoy all the beautiful flowers, trees and beach view with the awesome energy from this place. For lunch I would take them to Parakeet Cafe down in Coronado Beach and would plan a playdate with our dogs at Coronado Dog Beach. I would also consider taking them to Kate Sessions Park which has a beautiful view and is a great spot just to hang around and enjoy.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to each and every teacher I have encountered along the way, by teacher I refer to every soul that has impacted my life by awakening me to a wellbeing, awakening me to the desire to be better, get better and understand that I can enjoy myself and the process along the way. Shoutout to my parents who are my biggest teachers of self growth and perseverance, to my healing mentors, guides and therapists who expanded my knowledge to an inventory of healing tools, and to all my relationships that have been beautiful mirrors allowing me to see myself with different lenses that lead me to a wider vision.
