We had the good fortune of connecting with Valeria Amor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Valeria, how do you define success?
Success is very simple to me I set up a goal, plan the steps required to achieve it, and then I implement that plan effectively. I attain success once I achieve my goals. To me, success means achieving a challenging goal assigned to me
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
i am most proud of continuing my career as a model and mariachi performer and to see the future holds i am who u am today because of my dedication and passion to both modeling and mariachi. beging where i am today wasnt easy for many reasons one beging transportation wise , a lot of disipline having to do my both passions modleing career and mariachi career besides still having my school education. Not beging able to go to family parties or special celebrations or hang out with friends but everything was worth it. I am Happy of what i do .
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of the places i like to go in SanDiego is Seaport Village going to the small stores and buy gifts , enjoying Little Italy having brunch in Morning Glory. One fun thing to do is to explore Balboa Park and go to San Diego Zoo. My Favorite restaurants in SanDiego to eat dinner is PF Changs and Mister As in Downtown SanDiego . One of my favorite beaches of all SanDiego is Sunset Cliffs in La Jolla . In summer i love going to Mission Beach and ride the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster . Going to SeaWorld is wonderful to experience nature and animals. There is so much more beautiful places I could take my friend to see SanDiego.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

I would like to give recognition to the Botique Lilis Creations and all staff for letting me begin my modeling career with quinceñera dresses since 2015 Another shoutout is to the Organization Herencia Hispana California for being Princessa de la Hispanidad 2019-2020 and currently Reina De la Hispanidad 2020-2021 for being part volunteer and help my community of Sandiego. For my Musical Talent i would like to give recognition to my Mariachi Teachers Jesus Ceja and Jeff Nevin who have influences my growth as a mariachi performer
