We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacey Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stacey, what do you attribute your success to?
For me the most important factor behind the success of my brand is that it and I leave people feeling inspired and re-invigorated about their small business and ways to move forward in an uncertain time. This last year has been so tough on so many small business owners and entrepreneurs that oftentimes, they are too exhausted to even think about ways to re-engage with their customers. Really taking the time to get to know my clients and their struggles helps me to be able to lift them up and reimagine new ways for their business to grow. It takes creativity and it takes a ton of heart to keep a positive outlook but if they leave our discussion and feel a bit lighter about things I feel like I have done my job.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Sundream Collective is a marketing company for holistic health, wellness and spiritual entrepreneurs. I founded it as a way to use my experience in marketing and holistic healing to help small business owners and entrepreneurs grow their companies in meaningful and connected ways. I believe deep in my heart that now more than ever, I can truly help entrepreneurs that are trying to grow their holistic health, wellness, and alternative therapies businesses. I realized that in an over-stimulated world, people crave connection and heart behind the brands and companies that they interact with. My background has a pretty unique twist to it as I have ventured into various career paths before finding the perfect mix of what I loved to do and what inspires me daily. I worked in television news for many years before relocating to San Diego and getting my MBA from SDSU, from there I worked in a corporate marketing setting for Fortune 500 brands. Working in this setting left me less than inspired every day until a few years ago I discovered meditation and reiki and have since become certified in them. Starting The Sundream Collective has helped me to integrate my traditional marketing experience with businesses in the holistic health field. I am so passionate about both of these areas that I am able to find a deep connection with my clients.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I always love being near the beach. Hiking Torrey Pines or Sunset Cliffs always helps to clear my mind. If I am in the city, I love how beautiful Balboa Park is, and it’s a perfect place for a picnic.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love and support of my parents. They have always had my back and are my biggest cheerleaders. Thank you both for always believing in me and showing me unconditional love.
