We had the good fortune of connecting with Savannah Dupin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Savannah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
After going through my own weight loss journey & realizing how significantly that weight loss impacted every area of my life, I wanted to empower other women to do the same. There are so many weight loss programs out there & yet very few of them are teaching women to love & care for themselves as they are right now. I believe this love & acceptance for yourself is the key to sustainable & healthy weight loss and it’s important to me that other women can experience that!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I empower women to transform their lives by taking a loving & critical look at their daily habits and aligning those habits with their soul’s deepest desires &/or their long term goals. What started as weight loss coaching has expanded to help women know their worth & leave toxic relationships or jobs, explore spirituality & personal growth, & truly realize that they are the authors of their very own story and can have anything that they want out of life. By teaching women to take their thoughts captive so that they can think, feel & behave in a way that serves them every day, there is no limit to the transformation & success that my clients can experience. The impact that my business is having on women across the countries is so much greater than I ever expected and makes all of the long nights & leaps of faith worth it!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I always have a full itinerary planned when my girls come to town! We explore nearly the whole coast of San Diego from The Holding Company rooftop in Ocean Beach to Moonlight beach in Encinitas! I’m a sucker for any spot with a view & will never miss an opportunity to grab Kombucha at Second Nature in Pacific Beach. I love to balance all of the amazing food & drinks with a daily hike at Torrey Pines, Elfin Forest, or Iron Mountain and definitely won’t leave Sunset Cliffs off the list. Saturdays at the Little Italy Farmers Market are a must & my favorite underrated spots range from The Corner in Bankers Hill to Encontro in North Park. I usually get myself in trouble for booking a surprise spin class at Edge Cycle in East Village because it’s the best workout & simultaneous healing therapy session in town!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First off, I have to shout out my partner Edward Nickerson for supporting me with unconditional love & support during my own weight loss journey and helping me see that I could truly help others by sharing all that I learned. I also could’ve never gotten my business off the ground & experienced over night success without my business coach, Bri Morrison & her team at Buff & Paid. This team of fitness coaches helped me stand out & make an impact online that is beyond my wildest dreams! Last but certainly not least, I am beyond grateful for my very first clients who trusted me to partner with them on their weight loss journeys & followed my guidance every step of the way. I am so honored to work alongside so many amazing & powerful women!
