We had the good fortune of connecting with Phil Bradbury and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Phil, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of Bradbury Garage Doors has been honesty. Since day one we’ve made sure above all else to be honest with people. From a simple repair to the most elegant custom door we are always honest with our clients. We only sell them what they need at a competitive, fair price for exceptional work. By always being honest with our clients we have built trust. We are a name that can be trusted in our industry and it reflects when you look at our reputation. Our online reputation has over 1000 combined 5 star reviews through Yelp, Google, Angie’s List, and Nextdoor. The success of Bradbury Garage Doors is built one client at a time and we would be nothing without the trust of our customers.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are most proud of our reputation, it sets us apart from other garage door companies. Each client is an opportunity to “wow” them. In today’s competitive business world we believe you need to go the extra mile to be successful and grow. From our glowing 5 star reviews all across the internet to our happy customers telling their friends and family, it’s all about our reputation. Our reputation begins with communication and listening to the clients wants and needs. We are upfront about pricing and the work to be performed. We use the highest quality parts available and back our work with a warranty. Our customers know exactly what’s going on every step of the way, there are no surprises of additional fees when it comes time for payment. We are always asking for customer feedback and looking for ways to improve. We want every completed job to end with a satisfied customer and to live up to our reputation.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are a few places I would want to spend some time at… A day at the beach in Del Mar 8th street followed by some seafood at Jake’s. A day in Idyllwild hiking or visiting the shops in town followed by spending the night in a cabin. A day mountain biking at Calaveras Lake with a backyard fire and BBQ. Hiking at Daley ranch in Escondido and eating Mexican food form Los Panchos. Fishing at Poway Lake or Dixon Lake. A walk on the pier in Oceanside and dinner at 333 Pacific or Rockin’ Baja Lobster. San Diego is full of great places to go and even better food to eat!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my wife Sheri. She has been there since day one of Bradbury Garage Doors and she has supported and encouraged me constantly along the way. As a business owner I am not only married to my wife but our business as well. Sometimes the two cross over and one gets more attention than the other. This can sometimes be challenging and she has always been understanding and loving no matter what. Along the way she became a part of Bradbury Garage Doors and the office manager. That friendly, welcoming, helpful voice you hear when you call is hers. Sheri takes care of all the scheduling and behind the scenes office work. There is a drive, a fire in me to do better and it comes from wanting to be able to take care of her and our family. I would also like to say thanks to our incredible employees! Brian, Dallas, and Ron. Without all of these people Bradbury Garage Doors wouldn’t be what it is today. We are a Team.
