Meet Myron Reyes | Muralist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Myron Reyes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Myron, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted a better life for my family and myself. I was tired of working for someone else. My brother and I decided to create Mastermindmurals.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started drawing when I was eight years old. My earliest memory was walking to the comic book store with my brother. Being inside that store opened my mind to a whole different way of thinking. Inspired and motivated, I decided that I will paint and draw forever. Being the CEO of Mastermindmurals company gives me the ultimate purpose. Painting and designing are my passions and gives me real meaning. Before I decided to move forward with my company, I worked as a security guard/warehouse worker but was never satisfied. Choosing to start my company was the most difficult decision to make. What I learned was life is full of hard choices, but if you don’t start making changes now, you will always feel like something is missing. Life is a blessing. Show the people who care about you that you are here to push limits.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
The Arts District in Los Angeles is a great place to visit. From the food to the local breweries, you will love it.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate a large portion of my success to my mother. Without her, in my life, I would not be in this position. She has been the best example.
