Hi Michelle & Kimberly, how does your business help the community?
Every person is unique. In order to know our internal and external strengths and weakness we need to have baseline awareness. Mind & Body Pilates: A Wellness Approach provides a self-processing experience to aid in this interpersonal growth. Most people exercise their body, or their mind, and it is essential to do both. Each free Mind & Body Pilates: A Wellness Approach class stimulates thoughts centered around a variety of topics including, happiness, values, creativity, love and leadership, to name a few. Ultimately, each pilates class considers the mind and the body and is created to engage all five sense to release any tension and/or stress the body might be holding.

Mind & Body Pilates: A Wellness Approach also includes interviews with specialists from a variety of fields. If additional support is needed, class participants can watch interviews on a diverse range of topics. These free pilates classes are available, regardless of location or finances. Mind & Body Plates: A Wellness Approach is a tangible support tool to process life challenges.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Self-processing is healing, yet it is not easy. Taking time out of your day to dive into your feelings takes courage. We are comforted by the familiar and are apprehensive to the new. Mind & Body Pilates: A Wellness Approach is a unique type of exercise class. We created these videos with the community and people in mind so that individuals going through hardship realize they are not alone.

We are moms first. With being moms our schedule can be unpredictable and our time is valuable. It really does take a village to make a dream come to life. Fortunately, our village has been supportive of Mind & Body Pilates: A Wellness Approach.

We believe more fields should be connecting, communicating, and learning from each other. The more we question, share, and are vulnerable with our experiences, the more rich our vision and ideas become. Connecting the mind, connecting the body, and connecting as people, so that we can each grow, is what we are excited about.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We are parents. So our day out with our best friend would be a family affair.

We enjoy spending the day in Coronado and then taking the fairy over to Petco Park for the Padre game. There is a variety of delicious food options at the stadium, so everyone will be happy. A few of our favorites are from Seaside Market, Puesto, and Hodad’s.
