We had the good fortune of connecting with Luke Lintott and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Luke, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursue a creative career because it lights me up!

It brings me enduring joy to see my clients lose weight, manifest love, and heal after loss. I love sharing my gifts with the world as a healer, yoga teacher, and coach.

Additionally, I truly believe life can be a party. There’s no need to separate what you enjoy from what you do as your career. And when you do what you’re aligned to do, get ready for amazing health, happiness, and fulfillment!

Before founding my coaching business, I worked in the educational field for 8 years. I love my students, but knew that I could have a more global impact through lifestyle consulting.

I went on to found a free FB community that’s all about inclusive fitness & mindset coaching. That’s where my most creative self thrives. You can request to join to gain a community, tips, and resources to reach your fitness, mindset & love life goals at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/getfitbehappy

What should our readers know about your business?

I am a Lifestyle Consultant and yoga teacher based in San Diego, CA. I received my MS in Counseling and am a certified yoga and fitness instructor. I began my wellness journey when I had lost everything that mattered to me in my life, including a job and a long-term relationship. Fitness, yoga, meditation, and a supportive community have empowered me to embrace my whole self. My identities as someone who is bisexual and mixed-race strengthen my ability to empower clients that want to get in shape and prioritize their purpose.

Through my transformative wellness programs, I offer you the opportunity to get in amazing shape mentally, physically, and spiritually. My coaching programs guarantee that you’ll hit get healthy, balanced, and in control. Manifestations coaching will attract your desire through aligning your body, mind and spirit. I show my clients how to use the Law of Attraction to accomplish their dreams in their bodies and lives.

I teach students and trainers across the globe, and my articles have been featured online in Medium.

Through founding my online coaching business, I have learned the value of community! Although it was at first challenging to transition my business online upon the beginning of lockdown in March 2020, I now wouldn’t have it any other way.

I love connecting with people across the globe that desire to live their best lives in an inclusive, emotionally safe environment. It has brought me great joy to witness my clients reach & exceed their fitness, mindset, and love life goals. The online format is also the best format, as it empowers us to stay connected anyplace, anywhere!

I also teach personalized yoga, fitness and offer massage so that you can avoid the drive and parking hunt of a studio! People love working with me and have lost weight, increased bone density, and decreased stress and anxiety through our personalized yoga sessions. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my friends to Black’s Beach, Hillcrest, Sunset Cliffs, and Ocean Beach. We’d definitely eat brunch at Fig Tree Cafe, and spend lots of time sunbathing (and doing yoga) at the beach. We would also spend time in the evening going to the movies, as I love horror movies and comedies. I also love dancing, and so we would definitely go see some live music (preferably hip hop).

We would absolutely watch the sunset, take many selfies, and may even end the weekend with some Thai massages.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am so grateful for all of my clients, friends and family that have been there for me through thick & thin. Love you all.

The currency of my work lies in your success, and I am so honored to serve my clients and the world as a Lifestyle Consultant.

And amongst my many mentors, coaches, and teachers, I’d love to shout out all of my yoga teachers out there, including:

Kelley Snyder — I took her class before coming out to my mom as bisexual
Tabu Lanier — Pushed me to the next level in my fitness and mindset goals
Katie Burke — I am so grateful for your mentorship, and thankful that you invited me to co-lead 2 international retreats with you in Mexico & Italy

I am also grateful for my business coaches, including:

Emily Sussell: Business of Yoga Coach and founder of the Abundant Yogi Collective
Asa Leveaux: America’s top EntreQUEERneur Coach’
Malia Holleron: Coach and founder of Brand Your Brilliance

Words cannot express my gratitude for all of you. Thank you for your commitment to my success.

And above all else, I want you to know that you are worthy, loved and so necessary.
I look forward to connecting with you and hope that you have a wonderful day.
