We had the good fortune of connecting with Lecreatia Alston and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lecreatia, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
You can never be scared to take a risk or you will never know.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Im most proud of my work being on all platforms, as well as owning beats and leasings being very organized. Im even more excited about the rest of my journey and the things I have yet to learn that I know I will enjoy and it will motivate me even more. I got to where I am today by investing in myself and believing. It starts with you, you are your best supporter sometimes. It wasn’t easy but I overcame by taking risks and trusting and believing that investing would get me great results. I want the world to know my brand and music in general is very different and not like orhers. Most would say pain music struggle music r&b soul, it wont ever change. Thank you for listening!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I honestly don’t have a favorite place in particular. Im really a popular loaner in a major way. I know many, but still stay to myself most times. One spot I will say is the studio, it keeps me grounded and not so lost in my thoughts but i’m able to express myself, still be comfortable, and chase my dream still all at the same time.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My brother Young Fella of YBH, Young Broke & Hungry Music Group..His passing definitely opened my eyes to so much more. He showed me the real meaning of Live fast, die young, but also taught me a lot of lessons.
