Hi John-Christopher, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I aspire to leave a legacy that resonates with our youth, inspiring them to explore the world and sports in a way that creates unforgettable moments. My legacy is not just about the places I’ve visited or the experiences I’ve crafted for others; it’s about the profound impact those experiences have had on individuals and families. I want to be remembered as the catalyst that sparked a thirst for adventure, a seeker of new experiences, and a champion of the moments that truly define life. 

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Bravo Sports Tours is not just a business; it’s a passion project driven by my love for blending travel and sports to create transformative experiences. I take pride in the fact that my business reflects the lessons I learned from someone who profoundly impacted me: Father Philip Casa. He dedicated himself to bringing people and cultures together through a youth sports exchange program.

We at Bravo Sports take pride in our meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence in tour management. From coordinating transportation and accommodations to managing players’ games and activities, we ensure that every part of the traveler’s journey contributes to a memorable and safe experience.

We strive to uphold the values of unity and cultural exchange, making our tours not just about sports and travel but also about fostering connections and understanding among people from different backgrounds. We value integrity and trust and have worked hard to create a reputable brand that has fostered lasting relationships built on these values.

Since the inception of Bravo, I’ve experienced personal growth as a business owner. I’ve learned to appreciate the delicate balance between family and business, with time becoming my most precious commodity. I’ve come to cherish every moment, whether with my loved ones or in the hustle of my business endeavors. Being present is more than physically showing up; it’s about being fully engaged and emotionally invested in the moment. I strive to make my family and every tour participant feel valued and appreciated. This personal touch, I believe, is what makes Bravo unique.

Regarding the brand and story of Bravo and me, as I mentioned earlier, a deep passion for the transformative experience and power of travel and sports combined has driven our journey. When we embrace different cultures and new perspectives, we enjoy meaningful experiences that positively impact ourselves and the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Honestly, I would convince them to take a trip to Italy with me! After all, we want the best experiences in life for our best friends. I would start by taking them to Milan to explore the magnificent Duomo di Milano and sightsee the historic architecture and the beautiful Sempione Park. We would indulge in traditional Milanese cuisine at a local trattoria. Next, we would travel to Tuscany, staying in a charming town like Florence or Siena. We’d explore the Tuscan countryside and take day trips to San Gimignano and Lucca. We’d savor delicious Tuscan dishes and wines. Finally, we’d end our trip in Venice, taking a gondola ride, visiting St. Mark’s Basilica, and exploring the city’s charming streets. We’d enjoy a magnificent dinner overlooking the Grand Canal, creating memories to last a lifetime.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Father Philip Casha, who inspired me, he is sadly no longer with us. He created a youth sports exchange program with countries that had strained political relations with the US. His program allowed people to share cultures and sports and ultimately come together in a positive and lasting way. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that we are carrying forward his legacy while providing unforgettable experiences for our participants. His goal was to make a positive impact, and he succeeded. Inspired by his example and his lessons, I follow his lead.
