We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Bourquin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, what matters most to you?
Little Free Library XO is a place for everyone! We have books and treats for adults, kids and pets. We hope to inspire people to read, write, spread kindness and enjoy time outdoors.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We welcome you to visit us in person or online. Little Free Library XO encourages positivity and the sharing of books. We keep our library stocked with books and treats. Our decorations change monthly and we welcome you to sit by our library and look through our books. We want to be a bright spot in your day.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would love for you to visit North Park! Our community has so much to offer. If you have a few hours, we would stop by Communal Coffee to get a drink then we would head out for a walk. Our first photo stop would be at our North Park Mini Park. It is a bright and cheerful open space that offers the perfect backdrop for photos. Next, we would head over to Verbatim Books. We would pop in and say hi to the owner, Justine, and look at their incredible selection of books. Last, we would take a stroll through the beautiful streets of North Park and stop at 3601 Arnold Avenue, the home of Little Free Library XO.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We are so grateful for our community near and far. Donations keep us going and it helps us provide free books for everyone.
