We had the good fortune of connecting with Isabella Vildosola and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Isabella, what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?
“You need to have a fully established idea in order to start a business and succeed”. For me, this way of thinking is wrong! You’ll never feel 100% ready but do it anyway. You will never have the “perfect plan”. As a brand, you will continue to evolve and develop based on customer’s feedback. Things will constantly be changing, and you need to be able to adapt! It doesn’t matter how slow you go as long as you don’t stop. It’s okay to make mistakes and have bad days.
Don’t compare your process/success with anyone else, you will get there eventually and at your own pace. A big business always starts small, and the struggle is part of the journey. Remember that once you dreamed of being where you are now!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Lucrecia is an independent woman-owned brand creating every design with you in mind! We are a boutique shop that specializes in digitizing and embroidering on premium apparel. All our t-shirts are 100% organic cotton and super soft! Our sweatshirts are premium cotton and can withhold multiple washes; quality is our main priority!
Lucrecia is especially known for our pet and DIY designs. We work hard and dedicate countless hours to each design to make sure your pet embroidery looks as identical as possible. We also work with our customers to help make their DIY ideas come to life!
There have definitely been bumps along the road but I encourage myself by not worrying about things that have not happened yet! There is a perception that the faster you grow the better; I disagree. You need to be prepared and ready to grow/expand with your business to meet goals and fulfill orders.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Brunch: – Morning Glory

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I will forever remain thankful to my family for all their support. There have been countless nights where I had to stay up very late packing orders and sometimes ready to give up! My family is always been available and willing to help no matter what!
