We had the good fortune of connecting with Fa-Harra F. Vision and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Fa-Harra F. Vision, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Nearly everything I have is the result of taking risks. To start a business when practically no one believed in my vision was a big risk but, I now have a thriving business that’s growing every day. Another huge risk was moving to California and leaving the only home I’ve ever known. People thought it was crazy to move so far without really any support or immediate life lines. But, in doing so, I’ve connected with people I never dreamed I would meet and I’ve only scratched the surface. I believe there’s always a level of uncertainty when taking any kind of risk but for me, my greatest risks have led to my greatest rewards.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I think that what sets Fa-Harra Co. apart from others is our ability to be inspired by others but then turn that inspiration into something entirely new that’s our own unique style. It’s alway so exciting to see a thought become an idea that becomes a physical product that I can share with the world. It took a lot of hard work and research to get to this point in my career but I stayed the course and never gave up on myself. Through it all I learned to be patient and to surround myself with people that are not just absorbing what I have to offer but, who I can learn from as well. Fa-Harra Co. is the result of turning a vision into a dream and then working hard on that dream until it’s a reality.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite places in San Diego is the Meditation Garden. I frequently visit the beaches, particularly, Mission Beach and LaJolla Cove. Valaries Taco shop is a must burritos and Country Waffles has the best breakfast in town. I also meet weekly with the You Tubers of San Diego which is always a good time.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There’s no way I could have made it this far without the love and support of some key people in my life. My mother, Alberta C. Gore and the entire McCrackins family, my iVision Digital family, Stanley (Cam) Campbell and the House of Mtenzi, and all of the Memphians and others that have supported me along the way. I’m also fortunate to be apart of The Kings of Company. We are a collaboration of successful entrepreneurs striving to inspire and support other business owners like ourselves.
