We had the good fortune of connecting with Claudia Sinnott and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Claudia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
If you know me, you know my children and husband are my world. From day one the purpose of deciding to work for myself was to be fully available to our children. I love the idea of being with them to see their achievements and being fully present in their upbringing.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I absolutely love my job! I have said from the very beginning it was never about taking on hundreds of events just for the money but to take on events and provide quality service. From start to finish I will book your bar service, discuss your bar options, and customize a package to fit your needs. I believe that everyone should have exceptional service regardless of cost.. In return I have remained friends with so many of my past customers!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh you must go to Raised by Wolves in La Jolla, speakeasy vibes, and great cocktails Vaga in Carlsbad has esquite views and a menu to match
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My business would absolutely not be possible without the support of my husband! That man is a saint, when I had months of no income he supported and encouraged me. When I was too overwhelmed to balance life he stepped in, and helped me see things from a different prospective that helped me find my way back. When our daughter was diagnosed with leukemia we became one in balancing our daughter’s care, raising our other children, and keeping my business afloat. You would think he’s a stay at home dad, but nope, he’s a firefighter medic & engineer!
