Meet Samantha Reilly | Master Stylist & Owner of Mane Beauty Lounge

We had the good fortune of connecting with Samantha Reilly and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Samantha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I believe my vision started to form when I realized I had to be in control. I was constantly giving someone else all of my ideas and watching them come to fruition but not for me. Mane Beauty Lounge is a product from 20 years of continuing education, product knowledge, business experience as I built a business with my husband as well, and a love for my clients.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Blonde|Extension|Lived in Color Master Stylist. By niching my craft, I have been able to focus on my artistic style with formulation and structured consultations, paired with a luxury experience.
Was it easy getting here? A combination of grit and finesse is how I got where I am today and it was absolutely not easy. It has been an uphill climb full of hard decisions and set backs from the beginning. But I’m not a quitter, and I believe in myself. I have manifested everything I’ve ever wanted and I don’t take no for an answer.
What do I want the world to know about my brand- Mane Beauty Lounge is a safe space for you and your hair. I use quality, healthy products such as Goldwell, K18, Olaplex, and with Mane Beauty, the health of your hair comes first.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love food so I would start off on Beach St. for coffee at Copperline, and Sweet Marlays, lunch at Ronin for sushi, dinner at Bela Lisboa. Other foodie places we would definitely check out is The Garlic, The Avenue, and 3rd Wave for food and drinks in NSB. Texas Roadhouse, Alberto’s Pizza in Port Orange, and The Casual Bird for brunch. Ormond also has a lot of great options to eat and drink such as Souvern 63, 31 Supper Club, and The Ormond Garage. We would check out our springs and beaches through the week, as well as our new aquarium!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband Paul Reilly and owner of Reilly Auto Repair, 100% He is a business and finance genius, and has taught me so much. Generally, the beauty industry teaches you how to be the best artist you can be with little to no business instruction. While on this journey with my husband, I learned to be an industry leader, evolving and expanding my knowledge of business, my community and how I can be more involved while marketing myself while developing Mane Beauty Lounge.
