We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina “Jagels” Jagels and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina “Jagels”, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to create a fun and safe space for administrative professionals to become the leaders they wished they always had.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I created Closer Pros LLC – currently we have 5 divisions in the State of Washington totaling 9 beautiful, soulful individuals. We offer support services for Real Estate Agents and their business’. We specialize in Administrative Support – Transaction Coordination, and Client Care Services for the real estate agents clients.

We believe in these 3 core values – Service, Support and Growth. These core principles live and breathe in all of us and we take pride in providing such.

The really cool thing about Closer Pros is that I have attracted people that want to prove to themselves that they are capable of building a business, a healthy, happy, thriving business. Most of us come from W2 position where we have “a boss” and we consistently hit a growth ceiling where we want more leadership opportunities, amongst a number of other things. With that being said, we are all 1099 contractors operating with CP LLC together as a community, experiencing, learning, growing, supporting one another. My idea for Closer Pros was to create a safe space to build your TC business leveraging awesome systems and super duper cool people, so you don’t have to do it alone. It’s the ultimate Win-Win as most Admin minded people live primarily in fear. I want to fix that! Fear is a liar and I want to be the messenger of such.

There is absolutely nothing easy about building a business. Being an Entrepreneur is both terrifying and gratifying and everything in between. The season’s come heavy and fast and you have got to learn to roll with the punches and continuously live in gratitude. My lessons come swift and the impact is large and they seem to never stop coming. The biggest one I suppose off the top of my head is to not take everything so seriously. Life is hard, work is hard, relationships are hard, it’s all hard and we need to cut ourselves some slack and have some grace for ourselves and the circle of people around us. I think if we take some intentional time remembering that the thoughts of the past result in depression and thoughts of the future result in anxiety – if we could just be more present and breathe and just trust the process, our insides would be at so much more peace. This is a lesson I am continuously working on as a business owner and mostly as a human. The best part of all it though is that I am never alone in it. The group of people in this community are all experiencing the same things so we really get to do it together. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

What I want the world to know about my story/brand? Man, I don’t think I would’ve ever made the category in the yearbook as “most likely to succeed” I mean don’t get me wrong, I was smart, kind, hardworking and damn dependable. And, I came from a long line of laborers. My parents still are busting their tail ends, working paycheck to paycheck. I was raised with that mentality. Show up, work hard and do it again tomorrow! LOL So, I didn’t grow up in a world of entrepreneurs. I literally worked and worked then realized that I wanted more and no one literally no boss could ever give me what I needed. So I went out on my own to prove to myself that I could be the boss I so badly wanted. And that’s where Closer Pros was born. I want the keepers of the world to know, that what you want is doable, what you want is simple, what you want is hard, what you want is beautiful, what you want is scary, what you want is amazing, what you want is crazy, what you want is clear, what you want is confusing, what you want is so many things, DO IT ANYWAY. I would have never known what I was capable of if I hadn’t just went for it, failing and all. And I am so thankful for myself agreeing that I was worth the bet. Because I am quite literally kicking ass. And couldn’t be more proud of myself and the people that are on this incredible ride with me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would suggest we leave Seattle and go to Disneyland! Joking not Joking! Seriously though I would go to Disneyland! But if I had to hang with my bestie in Washington, I would probably take them on a ferry and go to like Friday Harbor for lunch and check out the local swag! Maybe drive up to Bellingham and check out a park or two. I love the quietness and views in Bellingham. Take a trip to Bellevue Mall and go shopping and eat at Ascend Prime Steak House – Looks spendy and has some killer views so sounds good to me, sign me up right?! Myself being the introvert I am, I am not much of a sight see’er nor do I like huge crowds. But Seattle and it’s surroundings have tons of super cool stuff, from State parks, sweet hikes, tons of amazing food and cultures, shows (music and comedy, Gorgeous views everywhere, San Juan Islands, City life, Art, I mean the list goes on. But at the end of the day I truly prefer Disneyland.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Man! This is a loaded question! For me, it’s literally everything and everyone that has lead me to where I am today. Every single experience good and bad. Every single being that has been in my space helping me along with feedback or just simple support. I do have some wonderful coaches mentoring me along the crazy ride aside from myself whom I trust explicitly. I have a business development coach David Breckheimer who is widely known in our industry. He has helped me turn some massive pages to make my world more manageable and scalable and also just more joyous. I also have a personal development coach, working with me to continue my journey towards clarity and abundance. Amongst a large network of people whom just believe in me and support my vision, theres me. I am just a girl who is wanting to make an impact and leave this planet and it’s keepers better than I found them. I would agree in the statement, “It takes a village”. It really truly does. You can’t do any of this “life” stuff alone. Lean on your people, love them hard and keep going, don’t give up. One Author that has changed my life in astronomical ways, is Gary John Bishop. All of his reads are incredible and will leave you loving harder. Most importantly I am thankful to me!!!
