We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Nash and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandon, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“Focus & Outdo Yourself”. This quote means everything to me, not just a quote but a way of life for me. I strongly believe that if you’re locked in, and I mean like LOCKED IN…the only person that can stop you is yourself. And with that being said, if your only competition is trying to be a better version of yourself than you were the day before, you’ll continuously grow and shine.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
At 24 Frames we focus on the art…the product. All the business, ticky tacky stuff comes second. Evan, our creative director, has said it time and time again; if the product is good, it will sell itself. It was hard at first because in the game of music videos, especially working with a lot of hip hop artist, most of them want half naked girls and flashy cars. And at first we catered to that, but once we started doing more story based stuff and got away from the norm we noticed not only our product getting better, but also more clientele. And that’s what I want the world to know about us, we started off doing what everyone else does yes. But when you come to 24 Frames, don’t expect the norm. Expect something that tests boundaries and is simply just different.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
All you need to know is Tacos El Gordo. Thats it, that’s the tweet.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I could go on for days ranting about the people who’ve helped me get to where I am today. 1st I wanna give a shoutout to my parents for always guiding me and supporting me. 2nd I’d like to shoutout my best friend Isaiah Dixon(Tre Aces) for being a true example of what hard work is and not letting anything slow you down. 3rd I’d like to give a shoutout to my team and most importantly my good friend Evan Crossing (APEX Kato). Evan came to me a year ago when I was kind of at a low point and said “Let’s do this, for real.” And ever since then we’ve had our foot on the gas. It was important to build a team of people who truly believe in the vision and believe that we can achieve anything. So one last shoutout to Nate Gonzales, a highly skilled video editor who’s been one of the best additions to the team and to Alex McClung(Certifies), the best photographer this world will ever get to see.
