We had the good fortune of connecting with Alisha Cadoret-Sturges and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alisha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to leave the corporate 9 to 5 job and do what I am passionate about which is all things fashion. After I had my second daughter I knew I wanted to start my own online boutique named after my two daughters. I knew right from the start this was going to be a hard task but the end result would be worth it when you work hard.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Valomie Boutique strives for the best customer service. I wanted to grow a community for women to lift each other up and have fun shopping. Valomie Boutique carries something for everyone and our community has grown to over 1000 members within 6 months. Valomie Boutique is where it is at today because my business is my third child and I work 24/7 my business is the first thing I think about in the morning, the last thing I think about when I go to sleep, and all that I dream about. If you put the hard work in positive results will happen. I have learned so many lessons along the way I have made mistakes and still do make mistakes but learning from the mistakes is what is important. I’ve learned not to be so hard on myself and keep my mind in a positive place. I would want the world to know that I am a wife, and mom to two little girls who want every women to feel chic and confident in our clothing. I stand behind lifting each other up because each women is beautiful in their own way. If I can make my dreams come true so can’t you.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would shoutout my husband for sure. He is my biggest cheerleader and helps with local deliverys.
