We had the good fortune of connecting with Angelo Dickens II and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Angelo, what’s been your favorite thing to do during quarantine?
My favorite think to do…to be honest is helping keep people informed through the profession I’m in. Being a Realtor is a challenge right now, but providing information and value to those that are hungry for it makes me happy! I also enjoy seeing my family around the house more, and helping my son with his online class work. I’ve kept busy by helping around the house, going to the office to work on finding ways to stay relevant, and keeping people informed about the real estate market.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a Real Estate Agent with a luxury brokerage called agent inc. I help people buy and sell homes by offering consultation, and advice on what best fits their needs, and wants. I love to think what sets me apart when is my approach to real estate from the perspective of personal experience, and being able to relate to the person I’m talking to. I feel it’s not me dictating the process, but working in unison to accomplish a common goal which is them getting the best service possible! I got to where I am with grit, and networking. It’s lead me to many new doors, and opportunities bigger than myself. It wasn’t easy getting to the point I’m at now, and not because it’s a cliche response, but because of the experiences that have shaped my character. I’ve learned to be persistent, adaptive, and unorthodox. Even though you can’t avoid all challenges I would say these three attributes allows me to finesse various obstacles much better. I want people to know my I stand for integrity, honesty, support, and overall providing a genuine and straight forward approach to real estate!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The area I live in is very urban, diverse and vibrant, that being Signal Hill. It’s encompassed by Long Beach, and adds even more fun things to do! I’d take you to Hilltop Park to relax with Its beautiful sights of Downtown Long Beach, Palos Verdes, and Downtown LA. My go to spot to eat would be at Georgia’s located at the LBX, and GD Bro Burger located in Signal Hill. Taking a trip to Downtown Long Beach offers so much to do from shopping on 4th St Retro Row at Hobo Janes and eating at Lola’s. Then going over to Rainbow Pier to see the Pacific Aquarium, and finishing the day with a sunset cruise! There’s so much excitement, and new development going on in Signal Hill and Long Beach!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to recognize the Lord foremost for just being present in my life, and preserving me. I want to shoutout my wife, and son for their tremendous love, and belief in what I do and my ambitions! I also want to thank everyone I’ve ever came In contact that believes in me as a professional, and values our relationship. That means more to mean than you’ll ever know!
