We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisa Roper-Stiltz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lisa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I love clothes and when I was personally on a weight loss journey and discovered LuLaRoe and how amazing they made me feel and look I couldn’t help but want more and more. I decided a few months into buying the clothing that this was a perfect business for me. I loved to play dress up as a kid and help others shop and choose outfits. Clothing should make you feel incredible inside and out and that’s where the passion of starting my own business lies.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I work Full-Time as a Drug and Alcohol Specialist. I help those that in need of treatment or already in treatment to navigate life. I am a case manager.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
San Diego has it ALL! I would definitely start at the beach. OB is a fun little city/town with great shops and gorgeous ocean pier. The zoo is a must also.
