One thing that makes me happy is getting outside and exploring nature and exciting places. I love capturing my journey as I go and taking photos you can’t see with the naked eye or even going as far as creating pictures that are just otherworldly. It also gives me a therapeutic creative outlet that helps with my anxiety and depression waves. I also enjoy taking workshops and classes, whether creative or not, such as jewelry making, yoga, cooking, etc. I am always looking for new ways to be more creative with my friends, family, and in my life and connect with other people with similar hobbies. Connection makes me happy and it can take many forms, including spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading books and articles or watching shows and movies (I love storytelling!) that illustrate how we’re all connected in our humanity. One of my favorite ways to connect is through food and eating. Food is a bridge to people we don’t know, people who look nothing like us and people who don’t speak our language. What makes me the most happy are the little things. I work at always being present in the moment that surrounds me, and from there I can see the beauty in everything. Something that I hope to capture within my work are the little moments that make life all that it is.
