We had the good fortune of connecting with Tony Mantor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tony, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
The most difficult decision was to make a move 1300 miles away from home where I only knew 2 people. Ultimately 1 moved away right after I made my move because of health and the other got sick a few months later and moved.

I was by myself and had to make my own way which turned out to be the best scenario for me.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My move to Nashville posed many obstacles. Getting to know the people and landscape of the Nashville music world.

After creating my production/development company the challenges were getting my brand out there for potential clients to know the quality of production they would receive.

After a few years my reputation grew and I started getting recognized by the major labels and publishers for the quality of work I was putting out to the world.

Now years later I have produced stars and gad many top 40 hit records I have produced,

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Nashville has great entertainment. One of my friends who had major hit records in the sixties came to visit,

We hung out in my studio, then I went to several major studios with him.

We capped the week off when I took him backstage at the grand old Opry.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family supported my career move.
