We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, what’s your definition for success?
To me success isn’t a one size fits all word. Success can have multiple definitions depending on one’s goal.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Exquisite Slay is dedicated to empowering women, transcending professions, life paths, and age. We strongly believe that every woman deserves to feel exquisite, unique, and truly special.

Taking on this journey has not been easy. I’ve faced moments where I wanted to give up, moments were I thought something would happen, but the complete opposite happened, and even moments of just being unmotivated. However, what helped bring me back was all the positive feedback I got from my customers and the support of my family.

I would say one lesson I learned is don’t be afraid to start over. I’ve rebranded Exquisite Slay a few times, and each time just made sense.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom and grandma were my two biggest supporters when starting my business. If it wasn’t for their encouragement, words of wisdom, and prayers I don’t think I would have had the strength to launch my own business.
