We had the good fortune of connecting with Sylis Pacheco and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sylis, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I am a firm believer in the quote, “The biggest risk a person can take is to do nothing” by Robert T. Kiyosaki. I have lived the last few years of my life by taking risks that have made me uncomfortable. I discovered when I put myself in a position where my back is up against a wall, and there is no other option but success, I will pull through and make it happen. In the times where I have had a back up plan, I tend to find excuses to justify why I cannot do something and settle for less.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a Professional in the Real Estate industry. From buying, selling or investing I will educate and successfuly get you to your end goal. I was not always a Real Estate expert. Just like anything else, everyone starts somewhere. I made the decision to learn the industry no matter what it took. What I lacked in experience, I made up in work ethic. Some of my first clients chose to hire me and work with me because of the effort I was putting in to their needs and assisting them with the home buying/selling process. My advise to anyone getting started in the real estate industry or any new industry is to outwork your competition and make up for lack of experience in hard work!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
San Diego is filled with touristy spots to visit, eat, and enjoy your day. When visiting I would visit some of the best beaches during the day. La Jolla, Mission Beach, or Coronado Beach. My favorite thing to do is grab a sandwich form Which Wich and walk along the beach. If you are into he night life, Downtown San Diego is a spot you do not want to miss.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife, Brenae, has been there for me through some of the biggest decisions and sacrifices I have made. She has been my biggest supporter and the reason I am where I am at today. She has encouraged me and lifted me up when I was down and helped get me through those times. Also, my mentor, Michael Najar has took me under his wing back in 2018 and showed me a formula of success in the real estate industry. He patiently coached me as I figured the industry out and how to make it work for myself.
