Meet Shirin Alipanah | Global Real Estate Advisor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shirin Alipanah and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shirin, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I grew up in a big family in Iran, with 9 siblings – 7 of them boys. It felt like I had 8 dads in some ways, each one adding to the mix of voices and influences that shaped my early years. But life in Iran also meant facing the sharp edges of inequality and repression firsthand. Simple acts, like wearing white socks, got me expelled from school, and bigger dreams, like attending university, were blocked before I even had the chance to try, making it feel like I had no future there.
Despite these challenges, my family’s strength and the lessons from my childhood taught me the importance of resilience, focus, and determination. These qualities became my compass, guiding me through the tough times and helping me navigate the journey from Iran to Canada, and eventually to San Diego. Each move was a leap into the unknown, requiring me to adapt, learn quickly, and never lose sight of my goals.
In the realm of technology and real estate, these lessons from my past have been invaluable. My approach goes beyond transactions and numbers; it’s about forging genuine connections, pioneering innovative solutions, and making a real difference in people’s lives. Empowering women and breaking through barriers has become a personal mission, reflecting my own experiences of overcoming obstacles and striving for a better future.
This journey, filled with hurdles from the very start, has taught me that with enough resilience, focus, and determination, any challenge can be overcome. My story is a testament to the idea that where you come from doesn’t define where you’re going. Instead, it’s your ability to persevere, to hold onto your dreams with both hands, and to push forward, no matter what, that truly shapes your path. In real estate, I apply these principles every day, striving to build not just houses, but homes and futures, filled with opportunity and hope, much like the future I once sought for myself.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Imagine my business as a high-speed train, journeying through the evolving landscape of real estate, powered by the latest advancements in digital technology. What sets this train apart isn’t just its speed or the cutting-edge tech it employs; it’s the route it takes—through uncharted territories, bridging gaps between tradition and innovation, and making stops where others see no potential. This train is not just about reaching a destination; it’s about transforming the journey for everyone on board.
What I’m most proud of is how I’ve managed to stay ahead of the curve, integrating artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and machine vision into the very fabric of the real estate process. This isn’t about replacing the human touch; it’s about enhancing it, making connections more meaningful, transactions smoother, and dreams more accessible. I’m not just selling homes; I’m crafting experiences, building communities, and shaping the future of living spaces.
Overcoming these challenges required resilience, adaptability, and relentless optimism. Each setback was a lesson, each failure a stepping stone. I learned the importance of listening—to the market, to my customers, and to my team. Collaboration became my cornerstone, enabling me to merge diverse perspectives and expertise into my strategy and operations.
The journey taught me that success isn’t just about the destination but about the impact you make along the way. It’s about being a catalyst for change, empowering others, and never losing sight of your mission. My business is a testament to what happens when you dare to dream big and refuse to back down in the face of adversity.
I want the world to know that my brand isn’t just about real estate; it’s about redefining what a home can be in the digital age. It’s about pushing boundaries, embracing innovation, and building a future where technology and humanity converge to create spaces that are not just lived in, but cherished. Our story is one of perseverance, innovation, and the belief that the best is yet to come. And crucially, it’s about building communities that thrive on connection, inclusivity, and shared values, creating environments where individuals and families can grow and flourish together. This vision of community-building is at the heart of everything I do, driving me to create spaces that not only meet the needs of today but inspire the possibilities of tomorrow.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Jumping straight into the essence of gratitude, I’d like to shine a light on the invaluable support system that has propelled me forward in life. The foundation of my success is deeply rooted in the love, guidance, and inspiration provided by my family, mentors, and advocates.
First and foremost, a massive shoutout to my mom and dad, the pillars of positivity and strength in my life. My father was the most positive person I’ve ever known, a beacon of optimism that illuminated even the darkest paths. My mother, on the other hand, embodied strength like no other, teaching me resilience and the power to withstand life’s challenges. Together, they instilled in me the invaluable virtues of positivity and fortitude, shaping me into the person I am today.
A special mention must go to my brother, Shahriar. He was the lighthouse guiding me to safety, enabling me to leave Iran and embark on a journey towards freedom and opportunity in Toronto, Canada. Shahriar’s role in my life has been transformative, offering me the chance to build a life defined by my choices and dreams.
Along this journey, I’ve been fortunate to cross paths with remarkable mentors and advocates who have contributed significantly to my growth. Tony Costa, Drew Martin, and Mehul Merchant stand out among these guiding stars. Each of them, in their unique way, has provided me with guidance, support, and belief that have been crucial in navigating both personal and professional landscapes.
To my mom and dad, for their unwavering support; to Shahriar, for being my bridge to a new world; and to Tony, Drew, and Mehul, for their mentorship and advocacy – my journey is a testament to your collective impact. My transition from Iran to Canada and my strides in technology and real estate are a reflection of the lessons learned and the confidence gained from each of you. Thank you for being my guiding lights and for playing such pivotal roles in my story.
