We had the good fortune of connecting with Pascale Kourie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pascale, what do you want your legacy to be?
Life is short but it is most definitely a beautiful journey that we all embark on. Each life has a different path filled with many different memories, moments, obstacles, and hardships. I always say that everything happens for a reason because adversity makes you stronger and makes you understand and appreciate all of life’s twists and turns. I want to leave a strong legacy behind. I want to be the kind of woman that touches hearts and helps others flourish and grow. Each and every heart I encounter, I want to imprint my kindness, compassion and love in them. Another life goal of mine is to be a successful businesswoman and eventually a loving wife and mother. Upon graduating from college, I hope to start a thriving career in the real estate industry. After a few years, I hope to settle down and start a family with my future significant other. Being a mother will be fulfilling for me because I will be able to share my life experiences, instill morals and create life long memories with my future children and husband. If I get to the end of my life and realize that I played it safe because I was too afraid to fail, I will be disappointed. I want to be daring enough to take risks and try new things. Life does not always go according to plan, but it is how you overcome challenges that shapes the person you become. I hope that when I look back, I can be proud of myself for being a good wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and businesswoman. Those are the relationships that matter the most in life. Children are the future of the world, they are the things that breathe life into our world. Being an excellent wife and mother will require commitment, dedication, compassion, patience, and love to achieve. I hope those who knew me will associate my name with a sense of admiration. I hope they will think about the connection we made and the encouragement I gave. Lastly, I hope that when those who knew me hear my name after I am gone will feel a sense of warmth in their hearts.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My name is Pascale Kourie @pascalekourie and I am a Southern California based content creator and student focusing on fashion, travel, beauty, and all things lifestyle. My content aims to express my fashionista vibe and shares tri-weekly OOTD, travel, or beauty images on my feed. My platform has allowed me to attend New York, London, and Paris Fashion Weeks with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Balmain, Nicole Miller, Naem Kahn, and many more! I recently have ventured into the world of TikTok and now post daily OOTD videos on the app which have been received very well. I hope that I can continue to grow my brand so I can continue to share my love of fashion.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As a San Diego native, I love showing people my city! If a friend were visiting I would most definitely enjoy taking them to all my spots. I would start out the day by taking them to Rancho Valencia for a barre class. As a member at Rancho Valencia, I love the fitness classes offered daily, some of my favorites include barre class, reformer pilates, and heated power sculpt. After sweating it out, I would take my friend to relax by the Rein Pool at Rancho Valencia. The ambiance, food, and service are impeccable at Rein. After pampering ourselves at Rancho Valencia for the day, then we would go to dinner at one of my top restaurant picks in the city…Born & Raised. Located in Little Italy, which is another one of my favored destinations in San Diego, Born & Raised boats a luxurious and modern steakhouse vibe with unbelievable decor, scrumptious cocktails, delicious menu items, and top-notch service. After dinner, we would explore the Gaslamp, which is known for its fantastic nightlife. One of my favorite hotels in the Gaslamp is the Pendry. I love going to Oxford Social Club for a fun night out or Fifth & Rose for a more low-key yet glamorous vibe. Some other restaurants that I love are the Pony Room, Huntress, Lumi, Kettner Exchange, and so many more!
