We had the good fortune of connecting with SAINTFMG and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi SAINTFMG, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process, well after working and getting fired from a few jobs I knew I didn’t want to work for anyone. Before I was able to work I always told my family I want to be wealthy and own my own and not have to answer to no one.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m most proud about the hard work n dedication I put in. It’ showed me once I’m consistent at something it will payoff. I’m still grinding but soon will have my break. It’s definitely not easy, I just keep going stay writing and creating. The lessons I’ve learns is your closest friends will become your enemy. People are jealous of the little accomplishments you’ve made. But all in all, I’ve learned to stay level headed I got tunnel vision I don’t see the BS. If you want to know me as a supporter just ask. The music is all entertainment mixed in with everyday real life shit.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being from LA born and raised I wouldn’t really do the tourist thing I will do more local things. If they didn’t want to be at the studio wit me and really wanted to go out. I’ll take them to Hawkins, Ramonas, woodys on Manchester not Slauson lol. I’ll take them to uncle Andres in studio city this soul food restaurant. We would of course hit the beach. Hermosa, Manhattan, Newport, Malibu, maybe Redondo. We could hit up the famous pinks hot dogs or go network on melrose.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out and give thanks to my mom Tracy. Without her praying for me and always having the right words to say wen I’m feeling a way. I wouldn’t be the man I am today.
