We had the good fortune of connecting with Sage Beltran and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sage, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
To do to what I love. My clothing line allows me to create art, which is my passion. Not only this, but to have people physically represent what I create is something that is extremely special.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I wouldn’t say I have just one single style, but many. I can definitely get better in these different categories I’m talking about, and I am no where near a great artist. Atleast, yet. My art separats itself from others because it emphasizes creation as a whole. When people see my art, I want them to believe they can do whatever they want, when they want.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ventura is a small beach town. Personally, I do not go out much. I am very introverted. But when I do, I like going to the beach. It is therapeutic to walk the shoreline sometimes.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank my closest friends for believing in me. They give me the extra motivation to push this brand I have made. I can’t even describe how greatful I am for these individuals, you know who you are.
