We had the good fortune of connecting with Re Irelan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Re, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process was… “It’s time I step it up and figure this out!!” Haha. I had a message of wanting to help other heart-centered leaders create their soul-aligned businesses to impact the world for better. I knew I had all the pieces needed (marketing, sales, human and business transformation, and creative biz and lifestyle design) to really help someone step into their new identity. I was excited and ready to help others redefine their identity and step into more alignment within themselves and what they are sharing with the world. I remember questioning whether this would work or not, but deep down I knew I had to give it a try. The world around me was feeling more and more out of alignment, which provided even more fuel for me to start putting myself out there in a bigger way. Over years of continuing to grow my business I can now fully support entrepreneurs to step into the spotlight of their business while their impact and income scales.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a Soulful Strategist, Business Coach, and Visibility Specialist for high-achieving, impact-driven entrepreneurs and leaders. High performing entrepreneurs, leaders, and coaches hire me to align, design, and integrate their unique voice, story and brilliance into their soul aligned, online business. I help my clients stand out in the marketplace by leveraging my Soulful Strategies that give them a deep understanding and connection to why they are here on the planet now and how they can make a bigger impact through their work by generating consistent new leads through their messaging and visibility and using my “sacred sexy sales” techniques. I have a background of being a world-touring performer and yet I was feeling unfulfilled in my work and purpose. This lead me into a deep depression where I survived an attempted suicide that then led me on a soul journey to understand how I could live a life of freedom, passion, and purpose. It was not an easy path, but I wouldn’t change it. All my failures (in life, love, and business) have led me to more growth and understanding. I overcome the challenges by moving through them instead of around them. I understand basic geometry. The quickest direction from point A to point B is a straight line. This is how I move through my life and towards my goals and dreams. I’ve done this by myself but my favorite way is to have a guide, coach, or mentor to help me get through the difficult times and also amplify the amazing times. Being a part of a lineage of coaches/mentors and passing along the wisdom and tested strategies I’ve learned is so fulfilling. I learned that I don’t have to do this alone. And if I’m true to my BIG VISION then it’s really not about doing it alone, it’s about the team and community that gets built along the way. I believe in a world where every entrepreneur can stand confidently in the spotlight of their story and business as they contribute to a world that they wants to live in, and see future generations thrive in. I’ve created a 3 stage system for my clients and their companies to become more visible so that they stops wasting their time, energy, and money on overdone strategies that don’t show the results and impact they know they could be creating NOW.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
We would start out with going for a morning surf/paddle board excursion in OB, Sunset Cliffs, or Tourmaline. Then we’d grab a delicious smoothie from Cafe Gratitude in Little Italy. We’d walk around and do some shopping and then we’d grab my favorite Tuna Wrap from Peace Pies in OB. I’d take them for an afternoon sailing trip and we’d finish the day by watching the sunset at Sunset Cliffs. Then we’d have a delicious dinner at C Level, definitely getting the coconut shrimp appetizer! Afterwards we’d get dressed up in our most fun and outrageous outfits and go dancing or out to a fun burning man style party.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shoutout to my parents, Rose and Dave Irelan who provided me with the LOVE and LESSONS I needed to become the woman I am today. My grandma would say, “Let’s raise the kids with Roots and Wings” and I really feel that is what my parents gave me. Their encouragement to follow my dreams and also the way they lived adventurous lives showed me that I could choose to create my life. I think I ended up pushing the boundaries more than they would have ever thought I would. After some dust has settled from the more stupid things I’ve done in pushing the boundaries, I see how proud they are. I like to think that we now inspire each other as a family to be better people, to heal, and to grow in life, relationships, and business.
