We had the good fortune of connecting with RayaHope and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi RayaHope, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Consistency! Showing up everyday! When I first started I didn’t really have any direction in mind that I wanted to take my business besides that i wanted it to succeed and I had no experience or training I just knew I needed to show up everyday and try my best. Watching what those around me did that were successful and tried to implement similar but with my own spin. Even when the days seem long and you don’t see progress or even regress you don’t walk away.. take a breather.. take a day off, you show up and you make that disappointment or frustration push you and make you show up even more.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I feel that in my field many just share their skill to be viewed and admired I feel what sets my apart is that I take the time to educate and teach others how to achieve what i’ve learned over the last five years. What i’m most proud of is how far i’ve come. I went from a tom boy growing up with no direction, passion or hobby college drop out to an over 6 figure income earner retiring my husband, building the house of our dreams in less then 5 years. I got here today by showing up everyday & producing as much scroll stopping content as I could everywhere I could, not just putting all my eggs in the facebook basket but investing & educating myself in other platforms to help feed into my following as a whole. It was definitely not easy as social media can be a tricky business of ever changing algorithms & not so nice reviews from keyboard warriors. But what i’ve learned along the way is to constantly be looking to improve & grow weather that be from reading and research or watching those more successful then myself & to have thick skin, to know “Karen from North Dakota” not liking my eyebrows doesn’t mean a thing & her opinion is her own, not mine. To not let the negative opinions of others dictate how I look at myself in the mirror. Because I know in my heart I am so fiercely loved by God, my Husband & the people who matter. What I want the world to know about my brand and my story is that is possible to achieve it all & that when you come to Rayahope on facebook & Instagram ill be sure you view my page & feel uplift, inspired & filled with joy!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my bestie was visiting we would stay at the Pendry in downtown San Diego for its amazing atmosphere & views! We would uber to Little Italy & eat at Nonnas my favorite Italian restaurant for its amazing staff & authentic food! Little Italy is the perfect place to hop from bar & restaurant for the best wine, drinks & photo-op spots! The next day we would rent a catamaran boat from Malarky Charters & enjoy a day sailing on the bay sunbathing in San Diego’s perfect weather & enjoying a cheeseboard & drinks.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband, Ryan. Without his hard work and allowing me to be a stay at home mom where I found my passion for my business & then quitting his job to be a stay at home dad to allow me to pursue my career with all I have I wouldn’t have been able to do it. My children, who sacrifice their mommy time to allow me to build a life I could have only dreamed of having as a child & to be able to provide for them.
