We had the good fortune of connecting with Patrick Glaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patrick, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
“Because I’m still figuring myself out.” That was the response from Sunil the owner of “Punjaabi Indian Cousine” when I asked him what makes him happy in life in one of my videos. To me there is no right or wrong answer to this question but I think it’s essential that we all ask ourselves questions similar to this. To not only discover our true self but to realize we are all connected. My true passion is not my photos and videos but I recognize that it is a medium that allows me to connect to strangers and help people in my own unique way. The success of my brand depends on my success of making people’s lives better with what I do and what I bring to their lives. To help them ponder these questions as well as help others see the good in people. Connecting with people has always been a passion and through my work and brand I can do this.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My profession is as a photographer and videographer. I do everything from portrait shoots, wedding shoots and commercial shoots to social experiments.

The biggest challenge I have encountered was getting my work out there for people to see. Through social media I was able to create an idea that has helped me thrive and grow my buisness and not only help me but also make other people’s lives happier.

Through doing my photography I was able to start a tiktok and instagram page that collectively has around 200 thousand followers. The main idea around my page is to go up to random strangers and record the interaction of myself asking them if I could take a few photos of them. After the couple minutes of shooting I ask them a question. “What makes you happy in life?” In that I have been able to learn many people’s stories as well as learn the different things if any that make then happy. I hope to continue to grow my page and spread the positivity to other countries around the world and make my videos everywhere traveling the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So originally I am from Windsor Ontario Canada. If I was going to do a weekend trip I would go to Toronto (3.5 hours away) and visit the areas around there. As a photographer I always love going to places with great views and scenery. If I were to take someone to Toronto for the weekend we could spend the day exploring the city from the CN tower to amazing restaurants around the city, to parks. Then from there around Toronto there are many cool attractions like Canada’s wonderland only 30minutes away from downtown Toronto. Muskoka with beautiful parks to hike and amazing sunset views. The last thing that I would recommend is going to Niagara Falls and exploring one of the wonders of the world. One of the greatest sights to see if you’re in Ontario.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are two people that I would dedicate this shoutout to. My first is my girlfriend and baby girl, Aria. They are the biggest motivating factor for me in my life bringing joy everyday of my life. Everything I do is for them and I always try my hardest to do my best for them. My girlfriend is a big motivation that helped me start my photography during covid and told me to follow my dream. From that point on I practiced and learned everything I could for hours on end and she has always been supportive of me no matter what.

The second dedication is to my friend and actually someone I work with. His names Zach but most people know him as Mdmotivator. His influence through me working with him made me realize that helping people is what makes me happy. He is the one that has pushed me to take my photography and videos to the next level and be able to include deep and wholesome work that makes people work on themselves and work on their happiness by doing simple things like taking pictures of them and just asking them what makes them happy. A lot of my social media success has been because of the advice that he has given me. With him we have been able to help countless people go through tough times and financial struggles.
