We had the good fortune of connecting with Naylea Dachek and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Naylea, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted create a space where not you can only get your hair done and look pretty but a place to have fun and have time together with friends more like a club where you can always see your friends at the salon
What should our readers know about your business?
I opened my busines because I wanted to explore the entrepreneurial side, my mom had many diferent businesses and my dad have one in La Jolla for many years now I read business books for years and wanted to put into practice what I learned and not only open a busines but I wanted to be the best! And I decided on a beauty salon because I been doing hair science I was. 15yo and I love all about the beauty industry from hair to fashion to plastic surgeries that when it camed to my mind to create beautyland a space where we can help lift selfsteem network with other guest and have fun while enjoying a cup of coffe or a glass of champagne while they listen to fun music I also wanted a way to give back to the community we give employment to 12 people and we also donate to women victims of violence, in less that a year we positioned our selfs to be top 10 hair salon and we are going for more !
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband Horacio who is very supportive and of course all of the beautyland team of stylist and makeup artist for doing an amazing work always, keeping up with education and giving their absolute best, without them beautyland wouldn’t be as successful as it is now
