We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Kramer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kevin, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my own business has been one of necessity, and also a process of learning that as a musician, I am the business. The music business was one of the first to be shaken up by the technological advancements of the last few decades & it’s currently reached a place where independent artists can exercise creativity and share it nearly instantaneously if they so desire, which is an interesting development.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey in Music has been very unique in terms of the series of events & also perhaps universal in terms of what I’ve learned and what I’ve applied to find any degree of success I have enjoyed. To even begin to tell the story is a task that far exceeds what I’m able to share here, yet I can certainly say that my life experiences making, sharing, creating, performing, recording, and teaching music, have consisted~multitudes of times~ of moments of joy that’s nearly beyond what our English language can express. Music being a language of its own, creates connections between people from anywhere in the world that breaks down emotional barriers and brings people closer together. I’d like the world to know that about my musical journey and perspective.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
