We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalia De la Motta and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalia, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. My dad is a business man and my mother was the general accountant for the largest construction, real estate company in Peru. Growing up with working parents as role models, I was taught to be independent, set high standards in personal life and never give up on my dreams. I started traveling at a young age and had the opportunity to visit many countries, learn different cultures and meet interesting people along the road. I think when you travel, you see the world through another perspective and use the experience to grow as a person, find purpose and gain confidence.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
HOW DID I GET TO WHERE I AM TODAY, CHALLENGES AND LESSONS Starting my business was not an easy task. It required a lot of hard work, sacrifice and determination. In the beginning business was not always stable but I learned how to get better with each passing month. I started with a small group of clients and eventually I grew my clientele base to over a thousand clients. In the beginning I would sacrifice sleep to work on my website, paperwork, etc–now I’ve learned that not taking care of yourself doesn’t help your business grow. The better you feel the harder you’ll be able to work on your business. I’ve also learned that success doesn’t happen overnight. Having lots of patience and a positive mindset helped me stay consistent with my work and eventually built a glowing reputation and a loyal clientele. WHAT SETS ME APART: As a licensed esthetician for nearly 13 years, I am committed to providing my clients with professional skincare treatments, while incorporating the latest cutting-edge technology in facial equipment and products. My main goal as an esthetician is to educate my clients about the importance of maintaining a regular skincare regimen at home and to have a monthly facial. I am always happy to see my clients coming back, trusting me, and more important to see the results on their skin. That’s why I constantly continue to enrich my knowledge about skincare. I enjoy getting to know my clients, understanding their lifestyles and building solid relationships. It’s very rewarding for me to improve people’s confidence by taking excellent care of their skin.
