We had the good fortune of connecting with LBL Lash by Lash and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi LBL, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
The creative path pursued me and I was indeed interested. I fell in love with the ever evolving beauty business. When I figured out I was interested in some of the many same things my clients were. It just made sense to follow a passion we could create relationships around together.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Currently my two most popular services are lash extensions and facials.
Lash extensions mean different things for different lifestyles. However, whether a birthday, a holiday, a specific season or an everyday lifestyle, when they wake up with lashes in the morning they are feeling quite confident.
Facials are EVERYTHING to me. As a former international makeupartist, my motto has always been-“I like pretty makeup on BEAUTIFUL skin”. Skin is indeed a force of healthy lifestyle achieved with maintenance.
I also provide, permanent makeup, skin tag removals & more.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love travel and adventure! We would have to visit some hotspots and local entertainment in various cities and counties in California. I have many favorites and an exampke of the itinerary would be put your flips on and pack a bag because we are going to Palm Springs, Orange County, taking a beautiful drive up PCH passing through the Hollywood Sign, San Fernando Valley and hitting Santa Barbara. On the way back home to San Diego we will finish in either Coronado , Gaslamp District or Hillcrest.
I love servicing my clients and love to show a good time to my visiting friends. It puts a smile on my face when I can send them home exhausted feeling all the warmth from sunny California!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have had many great influences working side by side in my career. Laura Mercier with Laura Mercier Cosmetics, Jerrod Blandino, artistic creator of Too Faced Cosmetics, and Tony & Tina with Tony & Tina Cosmetics as well as some of the best plastic surgeon Doctors all here in California. This factor naturally guided me to my own path.
Today I must say my most influential and inspiring person currently is my daughter, Jinelle! I gather she will be my inspiration throughout the remainder of my life! She obviously watched me in my career and put her own unique and impeccable creative skills, far surpassing mine, into everything she pursues and it’s PERFECTION and of course I am inspired by all of who she is!
