We had the good fortune of connecting with Kimberly Eisner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kimberly, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
The most difficult decision I have had to make in my beauty career was taking the leap and getting out of an industry i had been in for ten years and focus on my business full time. I made this decision right in the beginning of the pandemic and I was definitely on edge debating if this was the right decision but it was! Stepping out of your comfort zone into the unknown stirs up a lot of doubts and second guessing but it truly made me work harder because I believed I would make it.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I absolutely love what I do and consider myself a one stop shop when it comes to beauty. I pride myself in being knowledgeable in many facets when it comes to skincare, makeup, waxing, tanning. Many artists I know choose one aspect and cater solely to that service but I want to know and do it all. I am most excited for the future and the expansion of my business. I am a huge dreamer and feel like the sky is the limit so I will continue to learn everything I can and build. Starting a business is not an easy task whatsoever. It is a lot of learning and investing in yourself. Most importantly it is patience and understanding things don’t happen overnight. Consistency and drive is most important in my eyes. What I want the world to know about me and my business is I literally have put blood, sweat, and tears into this and like any business owner you have no idea what is going to happen or where you’ll end up but I know it won’t be anything short of successful.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
San Diego is amazing because there is so much to do. We would definitely be eating out every single day because the food is top notch. Breakfast at Morning Glory in Little Italy. Dinner at Born and Raised. There is so many cool bars like Noble Experiment and Raised by Wolves. We are known for our Zoo so that is a must and also checking out Balboa Park. There is amazing hiking trails like Mission Trails and Three Sister Falls.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Oh my goodness where do I even start?! I have the most amazing support system anyone could ever ask for. My boyfriend for his unconditional love and support when I needed it the most. My family for words of wisdom and guidance to make it happen. Then my friends for being supportive and my ultimate hype squad. They all have been so influential in my journey and I owe a part of my success to them for giving me the words of encouragement and motivation to pursue my passion. Without them I would still be racking my brain deciding if its the right choice or not.
