Meet Kayla Roberts | Licensed Esthetician specializing in body waxing and Brazilian wax.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayla Roberts and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kayla, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I really just wanted to help people feel beautiful in their own skin. So many people struggle with their skin or irritation from their choice of hair removal that I wanted to ease their burden and give them solutions to their problems.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I feel what sets me apart from others is the experience you get with me as a service-provider. I personally love to educate my clients on their treatments and why doing something specific treatments benefit them to hit their overall goal. I want them to know what’s going on rather than just coming in and not knowing how to continue a regimen at home. Their results matter to me more than anything which is what has been making my start in business semi easy. Growing my business in a saturated field was a challenge but it was easily overcome when they realize I’m not only there for my own personal gain but for them to leave with confidence and knowledge.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely be taking them to lots of beach days like La Jolla cove, Sunset cliffs, Pacific beach for brunch and definitely Shabumi for some good Korean BBQ and Hot pot.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The support and encouragement that my parents gave me while going through the process of getting my esthetician license and even after when I decided to go solo deserves the most recognition. My sister is a big help to my social media platforms and even my husband gets into it by letting me film content of him getting serviced by me! Without them I don’t know where I would be in my career.
