We had the good fortune of connecting with Kael Roberts and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kael, what is the most important factor behind your success?
As I have grown into my truest self and my brand, I have realized the importance of flow, ease and alignment. For a long time I did things because I felt like I had to. I saw other people doing these things so I felt like that is what I needed to do in order to be highly successful. Not only where these things not in alignment with my higher self and what I actually desired and valued in life, but it felt forced and like a chore while in the process of doing these things. I created a lot of products because I saw other successful people who had similar products…but really only made these products to make money. Not only was the intention behind the creation of these products only to make money, but the products were not in alignment with my overall vision and mission for my brand. I literally was trying to make a quick buck. Emphasis on the “trying” part, because I didn’t end up making very much money from those products. Which created more frustration than anything else. At this time in my life, I was operating from a scarcity mindset. It took a lot of frustration and failure to get me to where I am now. But this frustration and failure was needed to get me to wake up to my truth, my passion and the need for flow, ease and alignment in my life. Here is how I trusted the flow, ease and alignment in my life and my business: Flow – I spent so much time forcing outcomes and never really getting what I wanted in return. It wasn’t until I gave up the need to constantly “feel in control” that things finally started to shift in my favor. When I became more chill and just let things flow as they wanted to, my mood improved because things became easier. Success became easier. Signing clients became easier. Making money became easier. And I am all about EASE! Ease – Things just feel good when you allow then to flow into your life with ease. And when you are operating from a place of flow and ease, you will naturally begin to feel more aligned, but also become more aware of the areas of your life that you are no linger in alignment with. Alignment – Being aligned, for me, as meant discovering the essence of my being and the deepest values of which I live by. In order to fully understand this, then full embody it, I had to understand DEEPLY what is important to me and what I value most in life. By understanding this (my core values and deepest desires) I am now able to make decisions based off of these things, and begin to take aligned action forward in create the life I ultimately desire, as well as attracting more of the essence of which I am aligned with into my life.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My journey as an entrepreneur wasn’t always easy. in fact, for the majority of this journey it was very hard for me. I spent so many years getting in my own way. I didn’t know what I didn’t know, and I wasn’t self-aware enough at the time to see where I was tripping my own self up. I believe that my biggest failures led me to my biggest successes, because it was in those moment of total frustration and hopelessness….wanting to give everything up because it just wasn’t working for me. Those are the moments that showed me where I needed to change, transform, evolve. I had to get fed-up enough with myself in order to get out of my own way. Lose my ego. Ask for help. Hire a coach. Continue my education. And begin taking proactive steps forward to all the I desire. For a long time, I had a big ego in my business. It was all about me. How selfish, when I was in business to serve others. I had to lose my ego enough to ask for help. And in that, I really found myself. I hired a coach. Began surrounding myself with more like-minded entrepreneurs. Started holding myself more accountable. Began setting boundaries, not only with myself, but with other people as well. Becoming more self-aware in my journey has really helped me make huge strides froward in such a short period of time. And because of this, I am able to help my clients step up into their higher, more successful self as well.
