We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Frank and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Like most people, I thought I could do it better myself. I had some bad boss and work experiences in the past, so I wanted to do my own thing and not have to answer to “the man.”

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our biggest achievement is the fact that we are still here! Starting a small mobile food business with no money, isn’t usually a path that leads very far….But we have grown every year except for 2020! And are expecting more growth in 2025! We started with just grilled cheese, now we have 4 brands under ownership and over 50 employees! We still have a lot of room for growth, but we are also proud of what we’ve done so far!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Come to Oceanside and explore the best beach life in California! Great bars and restaurants right next to the Pier and then come great a breakfast burrito in the morning!

Uncle Shane – Growing up I was always impressed that you owned your own company…planting the seeds for me to do so as well!
