We had the good fortune of connecting with Jon Gonzales and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jon, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Health is a very important and often overlooked aspect of our daily lives. Not just for vanity and third party perspective praise but also for longevity and mental peace. I’ve found that healthy space can be found in a community of like minded individuals who help one another become stronger and better focused through the process of exercise.

What should our readers know about your business?
We here at Work Ethic believe in simply showing up and giving your best effort. Our community offers group classes, one on one personal training and tailor made meal plans. Also health and fitness consultation to ensure you and all your needs are met. Work Ethic thrives in a community full of gyms, studios and facilities engineered to meet the needs of the busy individual in endeavor to make sure their workout, meal and health needs are met daily.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
San Diego has many enclaves of interest. We are known for insanely good Mexican cuisine so I think Old Town would be in order but first a trip to one of the many local beaches or local hiking spots. There’s so much to see, no one could ever be bored.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife Dawna Gonzales, has been an endless source of love, support and integrity. Her belief in me and in others is what has solidified her as a powerful coach, woman and leader. She has a large following of individuals who call her coach, friend and mentor.
