We had the good fortune of connecting with Bella Dory Jett Malulani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bella Dory Jett, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
“After 26 years, I’ve learned it’s not about choosing between pushing through or giving up, it’s about evaluating. I keep going when there’s still movement, when I can adjust and see results or growth. But if something consistently isn’t responding despite strategy and effort, I take that as feedback, not failure. That’s when I step back, refine, or pivot. Longevity in business comes from knowing when to stay committed and when to evolve.”

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business, Jett Of All Trades, really came from my 26 years in the beauty and wellness industry. I started out in different areas like hair, skincare, massage, bodywork, and energy healing, and over time it naturally grew into a more full-spectrum experience. It wasn’t something I forced, it just evolved with me.

What sets me apart is that I don’t just focus on one service. I focus on the whole person and the overall experience. It’s very personalized, very intentional, and very energy-aware.

It definitely wasn’t always easy. Like anything long-term, there were challenges, pivots, and times I had to rebuild or adjust. I’ve learned not to force things that aren’t working and to really trust alignment and timing.

What I’m most proud of is staying true to myself through all of it and building something that reflects all my skills instead of limiting myself to one lane.

At the end of the day, I’ve just been doing this a long time, and everything I offer comes from real experience and how I genuinely work with people.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit, I’d give them a full coastal experience, but keep it really relaxed and intuitive. I’d start with time by the ocean—walking the pier, hanging out on the beach, just letting them feel the energy of Oceanside.

From there, I’d mix in good food, local cafés, and spots where you can really slow down and take in the community. I like showing people a balance of healthy, fresh places along with a few fun, social spots so they get the full vibe of the area.

I’d also take them into nearby coastal towns so they can see how each area has its own personality—more artsy pockets, more upscale areas, and more laid-back beach communities. And I’d probably include at least one day that’s more wellness-focused, just to reset and recharge.

For me, it’s less about hitting specific places and more about showing the lifestyle here—ocean, wellness, creativity, and good energy all mixed together.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

I’m really grateful to Abraham Hicks and the Law of Attraction teachings. They’ve helped me stay focused on alignment and not force things in business or in life.
